Ambient
Founded in 1989 as a sound equipment rental and sound transfer facility, Ambient has evolved into two distinct parts: sales and rental, and Ambient-designed and manufactured products.
Following its experience in the sound recording field, Ambient soon began selling film and video sound equipment.
Ambient began making products out of professional interest and also because there was great room for improvement in available products.
The first of these were the Quickpole range of booms, and the Clockit portable timecode equipment. There is now a whole palette of sound and sync products.
Ambient Recording is now a regular exhibitor at AES, IBC and NAB trade shows.
